RetroGo is a modular, high-performance emulator frontend. We are committed to providing a stable and responsive experience for retro gaming enthusiasts on iOS and iPadOS.

1. Performance & "Frozen" Issues

Q: Why does the App seem unresponsive after I click a button?

A: RetroGo uses an Asynchronous Loading Engine. When initializing an emulation core or parsing a large ROM, the heavy tasks are performed on a background thread. This ensures the App remains active, but there might be a 1-2 second delay before the game starts. If the UI is visible but not reacting, please wait a moment for the background process to complete.

Q: Is it compatible with M3 iPad Air / iPad Pro?

A: Yes. We have optimized the threading model specifically for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3). The asynchronous architecture prevents the system watchdog from terminating the App during intensive loading phases.

2. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • How to Import Games: Tap the "+" (Plus) icon on the main dashboard. This will open the native iOS File Picker. Select your legally owned ROM files to add them to your library.
  • Changing View Modes: Use the Slider icon (three horizontal lines) to toggle between different library layouts.
  • System Settings: Access core configurations via the Gear icon.
  • Copyright Policy: RetroGo strictly provides the emulation interface only. We do not provide BIOS files or game ROMs.

3. Contact & Technical Support

If you encounter any bugs, crashes, or persistent "frozen" states, please reach out to our technical team immediately. We monitor all reports to improve compatibility with new iPad hardware.
